Entry requirements

To apply for the MBA in International Management you must have:

Academic

A second class honours degree or the equivalent from a university or other institution acceptable to the University of London
OR a first degree from a university or other institution acceptable to the University of London and a G-MAT score of 550 or over
OR an equivalent professional qualification and a GMAT score of 550 or over

Please note: All other applications will be considered on an individual basis at the discretion of the University.

English language requirement

You should have an advanced level of English. You may be required to pass (or to have passed in the last three years) a test of proficiency in English acceptable to the University, e.g. an IELTS score of 6.5 or over with a minimum of 6 in each sub-test or a TOEFL score of 580 (or 237 in the computerised test) plus a minimum score of 4.5 in the test of written English (TWE).

Work experience

At least three years' relevant work experience is required (undertaken prior to registration).

Course Structure

You must complete 9 core courses, 4 electives, 2 one-week plenary sessions plus a compulsory research course and dissertation.

Leadership and behaviour in organisations
International operations management
Information systems
International marketing
International strategy
International business economics
   
PLUS four electives chosen from the following:

Advertising and promotional communication
International business analysis
Multinational enterprise and the global economy
Investment management
Corporate finance
International business law
Global financial markets
International entrepreneurship
International sustainability management

PLUS Research course and dissertation

PLUS two one-week, face-to-face plenary sessions

Note: Not all elective courses will necessarily be offered each year.
