British Accreditation Council ( BAC) |
BAC is a registered charity (est.1984). It acts as the national accrediting body for independent further and higher education. It is independent both of government, and of the colleges, which it accredits.
The BAC inspects the colleges it accredits every 5 years (with an additional interim visit after 2 years) to make sure standards are maintained.
