MSc Environmental Management
MSc Environmental Management – this programme takes a multidisciplinary approach to current global environmental issues. These include environmental policy management, sustainable development, audits, law, ethics and impact assessment.

Course Prospects

This programme takes a multidisciplinary approach to current issues of global environmental concern. It is relevant to those who are concerned with the management of resources and the making and implementation of policies that have an environmental impact at local, national and international levels.

Programme aims

The programme leads to the following learning outcomes for students:
 A sound understanding of the principal environmental policy issues confronting managers in diverse geographical and culture situations
An awareness of the ethical and moral issues involved in seeking the wise and sustainable use of resources
 A range of relevant practical skills, particularly in the fields of impact assessment, audit and law.

Entry Requirements

Academic

A good degree in an appropriate discipline acceptable to the University.

English language

For all applicants a high level of English language ability in reading, writing and study skills, equivalent to a score of 6.0 in the IELTS test or a score of 580 in the paper-based test (PBT), 237 in the computerised test (CBT), or 90 in the Internet test (IBT) is required. Applicants may be asked to provide evidence of language ability as tested by the British Council or another registered body.
